For those high peak times of the year when everyone crowds the gym *cough* beginning of summer *cough*, why not have a back up, in-home personal workout. You’ll never have to fight anyone for a machine, that’s for sure. You’ll have a personalized training session in the comfort of your own living room and won’t have to worry about that guy next to you that forgot his deodorant.
First we’ll start off with some fun videos to get your booty movin’ and then work our way toward getting that sweat dripping from your chin.
Let’s be real, there’s a little green monster in all of us jealous of how Beyoncé’s moves. But I’m here to tell you that you can learn to dance like her (without hiring a personal instructor) right here on Youtube. As part of her “Let’s Move” campaign, choreographer Frank Gaston, Jr. breaks down the moves Beyoncé herself is working in her “Move Your Body” music video. The videos are split up to make it easy for you to learn. First, there’s an instructional video to nail down the first set of moves. In the second video, (Frank calls this the “meat” of the routine) you’ll learn the signature Beyoncé moves that make up the end. Once you have it all down you can run the whole routine through!
If you had fun shaking it to Queen B’s music and are looking for another awesome dance workout check out Kaeaira LaShae’s fun Reggae dance routine. She records and performs her routines in the comfort of her home and so can you! Get your body moving in ways you never have, to music with beats you can’t resist busting a move to. All of her routines can be done in under 30 minutes so it’s great for those of us who are always short on time. We doubt you’ll be able to stop at just one video, so head to her channel and find more routines that spark your interest!
Who said you to join a gym to do Zumba? You can find countless videos on YouTube of certified instructors sharing their routines. If you aren’t so confident in your dance moves and want to try a couple of rounds before going to a class, then this is perfect for you! Get your groove on in all kinds of step by step videos. Build and Tone
Who can say “no” to luscious legs?! Autumn Calabrese provides you a short 11 minute workout that will have those leg muscles screaming in the most rewarding way. You might be sore after, but if it’s for legs like hers, it’s totally worth it. If you’re not used to doing her exercises, Autumn does a great job of explaining each one in her breakdown video. The title alone has us hooked! Leave yourself in good hands with the fitness queen of lean herself, Jillian Michaels. She will push you through workouts that are guaranteed to give you results. She has workouts for every body part, but with summer around the corner we’re definitely prioritizing our abs. Already have abs? This one involves a little bit of equipment so make sure you have everything before you start. Follow Tone It Up channel for more videos to get you close to that bikini ready bod!

We get it, you can’t commit to that yoga studio membership. It’s expensive, you won’t go often enough, the class times don’t always fit your schedule, the list goes on. Luckily, there are plenty of yoga classes on YouTube! Adriene is a yoga instructor from Austin, Texas that shares her own version of Power Yoga, “Empower”. Want to switch up the pace? Try this high intensity workout with Billy Blanks (of Tae Bo fame, for those of us who remember that craze) to get you sweating by throwing some hard punches.
